What have you done? Laced up the 19/18 custom engraved boranni’s rims. Mounted/anchored dual late model brembo front brake calipers for the rear on custom made Fab Kevin stainless brake bracket. I sectioned/re-shaped lowbrow rear fender and mounted it with custom stainless fender struts while also mounting the Lucas tail light. Had my 39/41mm frontend custom engraved by Dezzert First along with custom made stainless Fab Kevin fork braces and I assembled them. I custom made my own riserless ape hangers set up for internal routing. I mounted the steering dampener and remote oil filter. Icehouse polishing, polished my rims/hubs and 4 speed transmission/outer bearing support. I rebuilt the 4 speed transmission along with handmaking a custom stainless double barrel shotgun hand shifter.
What do you have left to do? Finalize final belt drive (machine down rear pulley) mount and space front brakes, machine down front hub. Mount 11/16 bore remote brake cylinder on back bone for front brakes and figure out linkage. Finishing routing handlebars for internal throttle and clutch (clutch side will be actual front brakes, need to figure out leverage system for remote brake master). Fabricate my seat pan and custom Frisco sporty gas tank (hide brake master cylinder) possibly French in a custom speedo into gas tank. Custom make stainless horseshoe oil tank. Make exhaust pipes, make mid controls/foot clutch figure out rear brakes. Rebuilt motor and hide electrical/plumbing. Have more engraving and polishing then PAINT
Any problems so far? Trying to fit 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag! Front sealed bearing wheel wont fit in narrowed 41mm frontend. Need to machine down the hub and recalculate machining to get front brake calipers and brake rotors to fit and work! Need to machine down the final belt drive pulley to fit in frame and go from there.
Favorite part of the bike so far? Everything. From the engraving, polishing and all the stainless bits. Every time I look at this thing it gives me goosebumps, hands down the nicest bike I’ve built so far.
Favorite part of the competition? Lots of talent among the competitors. Love feeding off of it thus helping me push my own limits. Enjoying the camaraderie among the competitors and I genuinely enjoy the general public engagement. I like talking to all of you.
