Dayten Likness - The Casted Shovel

Dayten Likness - The Casted Shovel

We caught up with Dayten Likness at this year’s Chopperfest in Ventura, CA. This was my favorite bike at Born Free last year so it was neat to see it in person and dig into details a little bit. The frame is insane–using two 45” necks to make a neat double down tube front section, mated to a more traditional big twin set up for the rest. He casts his own parts like the mag cover, oil tank, peg risers and a bunch of other stuff. That fat ass 15” tire out back and skinny little 21-incher up front gives it a perfect stance, while still having a ton of ground clearance. Killer job, Dayten, thanks for sharing it with us!
